The singer Patrizia (wife of Franco, a convict serving) has an affair with Paolo; they have a child. Franco escapes from prison and blackmails his wife who loses her lover and the child. In despair she becomes a nun, ans is put in charge a kindergarten where, by chance, Paolo enrolls the child. After some time, Franco seeks refuge there.
