Peter, a skilled archaeologist and explorer, is looking for a mysterious Maya village known as "Village of the Jaguars", which the legend tells to be full of gold and precious jewels. One night the village where Peter stays with his family is attacked and sacked by some natives. Only Peter's father succeedes in saving himself and his grandchildren, Jenny and Tommy. Unfortunately Tommy, still baby, gets lost in the jungle. Twenty years later, Jenny, at last grown up, decides to undertake a new expedition to the heart of the jungle, aiming to find the hidden village. Together with her friend Lucy and with the help of Pelipe, a Mexican guide, Jenny will experience fantastic adventures.
